How do you mend a broken heart?

August 29, 2008 - 12:27 am No Comments

Been trying to get some sleep, but I just could not stop thinking bout things that happened in the past few months. 2008 has been an eventful year for me, filled with both good and bad experiences but most of the downside comes from relationships. It is indeed complex and I wish it could be as easy as it used to be, when things was simpler and easier for me to trust people.

What I usually do when I’m down is listening to songs and this one is just right for tonight.

How do you mend a broken heart by Journey South.

Lyrics:

When, you find someone who loves you
No matter what, you hold on tight but don’t let go
But it’s hard, it’s not always that simple
To move on
To make it work
‘Cause people change and hearts grow coldEvery night you sit and wonder whether you should dial her number
How? How do you mend a broken heart?
How do you fit the pieces back together?
I don’t know now
Tell me why? Why do we have to fall apart?
Just when we thought it was forever
I don’t know now, I don’t know nowIn time, you find the strength inside you
To move on but that’s easier said than done
Coz every day u spend without her
Makes the night seem so much longerHow? How do you mend a broken heart?
How do fit the pieces back together?
I don’t know now
Tell me why? Why do we have to fall apart?
Just when we thought it was forever
I don’t know now, I don’t know nowMemories won’t fade away, like photographs, locked inside your mind
When you feel you can’t go on, you realise, it only makes you stronger

How, how do you mend a broken heart
How do fit the pieces back together
I don’t know now

Tell me why? Why do we have to fall apart?
Just when we thought it was forever
I don’t know now, I don’t know now

Tell me how? How do you mend a broken heart?
How do you fit the pieces back together?
I don’t know now, I don’t know now

Against Internet Censorship

August 28, 2008 - 10:59 pm No Comments

Once again the Malaysian government has violated the people’s right to receive and access information on the internet without censorship. The internet should be free of censorship and the people who use the internet should be mature enough to decide whether those information are slanderous or dangerous to the public safety.

What other danger does Malaysia Today cause other than the change of votes to the opposition. Why not justify your action within the free media instead of blocking, ignoring and staying in denial by censoring what people will find out one way or another.

There are hundreds and thousands of other sites which are more dangerous than Malaysia Today such as money laundering sites, fraudulent sites and pornographic sites which prove to be more harmful and not politically motivated even if censored.

All Malaysian should stand together and fight against internet censorship. If it does not stop now, then it’s just the beginning of what the government might block. This particular action by the government alone will damage them more than they think. The people has their rights and would like to keep it.

Say “NO! to internet censorship”.

Azureus Club launching party

August 27, 2008 - 12:43 am No Comments

Got a gold invite to the Azureus Club launching party at Republic Club next to Italianies in Sunway Pyramid, but in the end I didn’t really need the ticket because of some special reason. ;)

I only got a chance to catch a glimpse of a dance performance which was Okay and a fashion show that ain’t too impressive.

Overall the party is kinda slow and I don’t think that the club really made the hit.

Some Comments:

- The crowd control was really bad, people just walk in and out of the gold ticket area

- The tickets are over priced and doesn’t really justify the cost

- The MC was lousy, keep on making mistakes and talk nonsense

- There was a fight.. and some crowd does misbehave, it’s more like a children’s party than a gathering of future corporate adults. I don’t see how the even could’ve encourage cooperation between students in their work, assignments and career
